Weird Homes Tour – Houston

Celebrated Houston artist Sharon Kopriva and her husband Gus, own Redbud Gallery. Sharon’s work combines two- and three-dimensional media with fusions of papier-mâché and found objects. Often these work resemble mummy-like, haunting sculptural creations.

The living space inside the gallery serves as a temporary home to many world-renowned artists.  They often leave clever messages on the bathroom door to commemorate their time spent there. All the while, the space acts as a living, breathing studio of macabre companions and incredible, large scale works on canvas. Every inch of the space has something surprising in store.
