Weird Homes Tour – Portland

Artist Lisa Bustamante started doing mosaic 5 years ago by just taking some fun community college classes.  What she found was a talent and passion for glass cutting that would eventually transform itself into a business adventure.

Much of her creative inspirations come from projects for her own home. When Lisa wanted to update her shower, for example, she didn’t like the cookie cutter traditional tiles she kept finding.  The solution was for her to design and cut her own stained glass tiles. In addition to Lisa’s shower you can also find custom design glass mural vanity tops and artwork.

All of her designs are colorful and flowing as she sees her work as “leading the glass through a dance of light and movement.”
