Weird Homes Tour – New Orleans

Karie Cooper is a New Orleans based painter, sculptor and mixed media artist. Her recent work reflects her fascination with patterns, rhythms and repetition found in systems, both natural and man-made.

Inside of her Weird Home she is experimenting with various media to explore ways in which these patterns and rhythms overlap and intersect. When you visit her Weird Home you will be able explore these painted experimentation’s on more organic materials such as on tree rings, encaustics(wax) and horsehair as well as viewing the mixed media pieces, drawings and photography.
