The Boom Boom Museum
Matt and Sara’s dwelling is anything but your typical apartment. The double decker infinity pool is your first glimpse into what will surely be sensory overload. After a short walk up the stairs, the view from the 2nd floor veranda is nothing short of an oasis straight out of 1960’s Palm Springs. One step inside the apartment and you’ll be intrigued by this maximized museum, a well curated space, filled with eclectic art and kitschy knick-knacks, around every corner. A mid-century modern inspired place, where an Alf doll, a ham hock pillow and a mannequin leg serving as a planter, all seem quite logical. You wouldn’t want to get rid of them for the world!
A stroll through the space will inevitably lead you to the infamous “Boom Boom Room”. This is Matt and Sara’s super-sized four season Tiki lounge that will make you instantly want to drink a Mai Tai (or 3) with the Creature from the Black Lagoon. Matt and Sara’s home shows that even in an apartment you can make your home wonderfully weird!
And you can get your “Boom boom” on by buying your ticket to the tour here!
